Ø When the match is done being reviewed, close the Potplayer screenħ. Ø Use either the keyboard or the “wheel” to view the match. Ø Use your mouse to “drag” Potplayer to the external monitor (if it does not automatically come up on the external monitor) Ø When there is a match to review, click on the file name in the file you have on the right side of the screen-this will open up the match on Potplayer VIEWING VIDEOS IN POTPLAYER WHEN USING AN EXTERNAL MONITOR Ø Once Kinovea and the video file is on the screen, adjust so that the whole screen is filled for you to view.Ħ. Ø Make the screen ½ minimized so that Kinovea screens are not full window. The screen will show "Recording Stopped" and the red dot will turn large and the file name will automatically increment to First-55, the next file name. When the match is over, stop recording by pressing on the tiny red dot. When the red dot is pressed, the screen will show "Recording Started" and the red dot will turn tiny and the file name (Front-54) will turn gray. Be sure to check periodically to be sure you have the same match number on the left and right cameras. To record a match – push red buttons on both cameras to get a front and a back version of the same match. Ø Find the “next video” area- set up the file name here (i.e. Ø Use pulldown arrow to find the name of the camera Ø Left camera – set to Microsoft LifeCam Right camera – set to Logitech HD Camera Ø **Two screens should be visible (one for the right camera, one for the left camera) Ø Choose the two camera screens from the toolbar-(under the image button) Ø In the “video directory” – click on the file folder to find the event name Ø Double click on the Kinovea icon on the desktop Ø Click the ½ screen button, then use your mouse on each side of the screen so that you are able to make it small enough to fit on the screen next to the Kinovea recording screens The newest recording will be on top of the list.

Ø Click on “date” so that the most recent recording is on top (this will also have the left and right camera views together for each match recorded. Ø Click on “details” so that the files will be in a list (not as icons) Ø Click on videos (you will see different tournaments already there)

Ø Click on Windows File Explorer on the bottom of the start menu (Cameras should be opposite of each other, not to be in the viewing area where a referee would sit) Ø Place the tripod in the predetermined area. Ø Set up each tripod by attaching the camera (bottom of camera screws onto the tripod) Ø Plug one camera USB into the USB on the right side of the laptop, and the other into the left side of the laptop. Ø Determine camera locations (on desk, on mat, on other side of mat,etc) Ø Position the external monitor (if you have one) on the right side of the laptop, Plug HD cable from the monitor to the laptop into the HD port (left side of laptop).
